Daphné t'Kint de Roodenbeke

Dr. t’Kint graduated from Medicine in 2005. She studied Tropical Medicine at the Institute of Tropical Medicine in Antwerp to realize her dream of going with MSF and she went to South Sudan with them for a 6 month mission. She continued her training and specialized in Medical Oncology mainly at the Jules Bordet Institute where she was hired in 2012.

During her specialization, she had the chance to be trained in Oncogenetics by Professor Marc Abramowicz who was head of the Department of Genetics at ULB. She therefore continued on this path and completed a DIU (Inter-University Diploma) in Oncogenetics specifically at the Institut Curie in Paris.

Today, Dr. t’Kint is a medical oncologist at the Jules Bordet Institute and specifically treats Breast Cancers; there she is responsible for the Oncogenetics clinic that she is developing for the ULB with the Human Genetics Center. She is developing the Screening Clinic dedicated to “high-risk patients” within which they develop care pathways with the different specialties involved in the monitoring of these syndromes including a major hereditary predisposition to cancer.
